FAQ

  • Yes! Our theme is Stories of Climate Transformation.

The theme is neither prescriptive nor binding. Rather, it will be a thread in the program, indicative of a handful of special sessions we’ll hold to spark interdisciplinary collaboration.

Narrative #40 is open to the same wide range of topics as its 39 predecessors!

  • The conference organizing committee is in the process of fundraising, and still unsure whether we will meet the A/V package quote.

With A/V package: you will be able to Zoom into your session, present, and view the other presentations.

Without A/V package: we will not have equipment to properly beam you in, but will try to set up a hotspot and Zoom you in via a personal laptop. Not ideal but doable.

In short: submit a proposal, and note the intended remote participation in the comment section at the end of the form. Org comm will get in touch once we have more info.

Note: we will not have the capacity to host a fully hybrid conference, so those presenting online would not be able to participate in the rest of the conference. Their registration rates would be reduced accordingly.

  • The first session will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 3; the last session will end at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 5.

We’ll host a reception on Wednesday evening, April 2, and a dance on Saturday night, April 5.

The Conference concludes at the end of the dance; there will be no sessions on Sunday, April 6.
